I love coming in here! They always have the coolest key chains, shirts, patches and accessories. They are always getting in new CD's and have really great deals on collectables. They're located right in the middle of Melrose so there's always places to go to and things to do around here as well :) The guys who run the shop are super friendly and cool and make me always want to come back. If you're a punk, or like punk, or want to learn about punk, please come here and support one of the best,, genuine independent businesses in this industry! Thank you Headline Records! From Wallace (5 Yelp Stars)

Headline Records is famous in LA for a reason! Incredible staff, ridiculous collection of vinyl and great merch from some super underground bands (as well as the big names). Staff are always friendly and its just a super cool place to come check out and discover new music in the process. From Leah (% Yelp Stars)

I stopped in with my fiancé earlier this week and had an amazing experience. Originally went in to look at records. I found a Cramps shirt I've been looking for, for a very long time. (Yellow bad music for bad people with the additional artwork on the back). Got a few more things, patches and a ****crass 7" original pressing*****. Not only did I find stuff I've been wanting... I had an amazing customer service experience as well. The guy at the counter who was helping us was so awesome. He is so knowledgeable about music, it made my experience SO MUCH BETTER!!!! The majority of the time when I look for records the person helping me doesn't know anything about what I'm looking for. If I could give a million stars I would. I feel like anyone who leaves a bad review about this place probably isn't very punk rock haha - From Kimberly (5 Yelp Stars)

Went in today and got a Bold and Side To Side T-shirt and the homie working there was great. All around favorite record store in LA because they got all the old school punk and hardcore records and T-shirts that nowhere else does, even the rare shit. From Geoffrey (5 Yelp Stars)

This place is a punk rock time warp, the T-shirt collection is sick, the hospitality was top notch and friendly! We were visiting from Kansas and my son and I love old school punk and find it difficult to locate stuff in Kansas with out having to order online! My son picked up a Reagan Youth Tee, now that's something you won't see anyone have in Kansas! A great shop!! Cheers! from Jim (5 Yelp Stars)

My friends and I unfortunately ended up at some ridiculous record shop down the street prior to coming here. Upon coming here, the gentleman working was so sweet. I described bands that my boyfriend listens to and he helped me find a new vinyl for him. The vinyl chosen was from the band Cat Party (Found them on Spotify later and I'm in love). He then gave me stickers and I felt like an excited idiotic child. All around a good vibe here and I highly recommend it. Definitely a step up for the rude douche lord down the street from the Record Collector place. From Shelby ( 5 Yelp Stars)

The only shop left to get the feel of what Melrose was like before Melrose Place made it hip and killed the vibe. Great store, insane how much is crammed in here, every nook and cranny is filled with great merchandise. You can literally spend hours here and barely scratch the surface.
